THC 75: Robert Sullivan | The Secrets of Masonic Ritual, Philosophy, & Symbolism
Legendary Constitutions and the Knights Templar Theory
Dr. James Anderson’s "Legendary Constitutions of Freemasonry" is examined for its claims linking Masons to biblical builders and sacred geometry. Andrew Michael Ramsay later challenged this history in 1737, proposing that Freemasonry originated with the Knights Templar and their encounters with ancient mystery schools in the Holy Land. This theory suggests Masons brought back secrets of Osiris, Isis, and Pythagorean philosophy to Europe.
