Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, Harmonic Convergence 1987
The official origin story of the London acid house scene involves four DJs—Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, Nikki Holloway, and Johnny Walker—visiting Ibiza in 1987. Danny Rampling later linked the spiritual energy of the movement to the "Harmonic Convergence," a global shift in unity consciousness based on Maya calendar teachings. This alignment suggests the controllers may have been steering an emerging shift in human consciousness.
