Topic: Harold Dahl

The Maury Island incident of June 1947 is detailed, involving Harold Dahl and a salvage boat in Puget Sound, Washington. Dahl reported seeing six saucer-shaped craft, one of which dropped hot slag that injured his son and killed their dog. This event occurred just days before the famous Kenneth Arnold sighting near Mount Rainier.

The Maury Island case is often dismissed as a hoax because Harold Dahl eventually recanted his story. Ken Thomas argues this confession was coerced by the "Men in Black" following a series of personal tragedies, including his wife's illness and his son's disappearance. Thomas also notes a name similarity between Dahl and one of the "three tramps" arrested in Dallas.
