Topic: Haptic Suits

Ben Joseph Stewart explains that the "Sentient World Simulation" requires massive bandwidth (5G) and "smart dust" sensors to function. He describes a future where people are incentivized to stay in their homes using haptic suits and virtual reality to visit locations like Yellowstone or go shopping. This "virtual hedonism" is framed as a way to manage the population while they are confined to high-density smart cities.

Ben Joseph Stewart compares the current push for legalized psychedelics to "Soma" from Brave New World, used to ensure "servitude without tears." He envisions a future where people live in haptic suits within smart cities, experiencing virtual heavens while the physical world is populated by "chimeras" or human-animal hybrids. He calls for an "art revolution" as the only way to discover individual gifts and resist this technological commodification of the soul.
