King Arthur and the Esoteric Wound
Randall Carlson analyzes the astronomical and esoteric symbolism in the Arthurian legends, specifically the "Sword in the Stone" and the Round Table. He connects the wound in Arthur's side to the wound of Christ and the separation of Adam and Eve in esoteric tradition. This rupture symbolizes the decline of a prosperous kingdom into a wasteland, necessitating the quest for the Grail.
