Topic: Guest Selection

Greg Carlwood recaps the interview, praising Patrick Harper's ability to mine the past for "gems" of wisdom. He reflects on the importance of engaging with mystery rather than trying to solve it and notes the high listener ratings for a previous episode with Walter Bosley. Carlwood discusses his approach to guest selection and his personal belief in the reality of the "other world" based on the consistency of guest testimonies.

Greg Carlwood asks Alex Tsakiris for a critique of The Higher Side Chats. Tsakiris emphasizes that guest selection is the most critical factor for a successful show and admits he only agrees with about 40% of the content on THC. He praises Carlwood's ability to find unique guests but notes that he personally skips episodes that don't add new information to the "body of knowledge."
