Robert Sullivan | Cinema Symbolism & The Esoteric Archetypes of Hollywood
George McFly and The Fool Tarot Card Archetype
The character of George McFly is identified as a living representation of The Fool card from the Tarot's Major Arcana. Robert W. Sullivan IV points to George's birthday on April 1st (April Fool's Day) and his eccentric, loner personality as definitive markers of this archetype. The segment explores how Jungian archetypes are frequently manifested as breathing characters within popular cinema.
