THC 108: Lon Milo DuQuette | Understanding Magik, Tarot, & The Universe
Tarot as Fortune Creation and The Hanged Man
The hosts discuss a specific tarot reading involving "The Hanged Man" card, which Duquette interprets as becoming obsolete in the new Aeon. He argues that the old concept of self-sacrifice is being replaced by "joyous responsibility" and philanthropy. Duquette clarifies that tarot is not about passive fortune-telling but "fortune creation," serving as a snapshot of the individual's creative progress.
