The octopus is cited as a prime candidate for an alien-derived species due to its sudden emergence 400 million years ago with 33,000 more protein-coding genes than humans. Its genetic sequence is not found elsewhere on Earth, suggesting a retroviral transfer from a space-borne virus. This perspective supports the idea that both octopi and humans may have extraterrestrial origins, fulfilling ancient myths about ancestors from the stars.

Modern scientists are beginning to view the universe as an evolving system of logical ideas and algorithms. If the fabric of the universe possesses intelligence, the evolution of human consciousness becomes a probable outcome rather than a freak accident of chance. This perspective aligns with ancient religious teachings that describe the human mind as an emanation of a singular cosmic mind.
