Topic: Environmental Activists

The legal definition of terrorism has been expanded to include "buffoonish" individuals and political activists, such as environmentalists and anarchists in Cleveland and Chicago. There is a noted double standard where Islamic or left-wing groups are labeled as terrorists for manufactured plots, while sovereign citizens or white supremacists involved in similar activities often avoid the label. This distortion of the term "material support" allows the government to target a wide array of domestic dissenters.
