Topic: Emergency Landing

Witness Catherine Tee, sailing from India to Phuket, reported seeing a glowing orange plane with black smoke descending toward the ocean at the time of the disappearance. Forbes interprets the orange glow as a chemical reaction between the fire and Halon gas suppression systems. This sighting corroborates reports of an intercepted Chinese communication stating the aircraft was disintegrating and attempting an emergency water landing in pitch-black conditions.
