Topic: Donmeh

The narrative shifts to the Donmeh, families who followed Zevi into Islam while secretly practicing Sabbateanism through ritual inversion and transgression. Professor Jiang claims these crypto-Jewish families became the Young Turks who overthrew the Ottoman Empire, citing Mustafa Kemal Ataturk as a descendant. He further mentions Iraqi intelligence documents suggesting that the House of Saud may also have Sabbatean roots.

David Icke details the origins of a 17th-century cult led by Sabbatai Zevi, a Sephardic Jewish man who claimed to be the Messiah. Icke explains the cult's practice of "inversion," where religious taboos were encouraged, and describes how the group became known as the Donmeh after outwardly converting to Islam in the Ottoman Empire while practicing their beliefs in secret.
