The Brutal Murder and Dismemberment of Marion Parker
Hickman murdered Marion Parker by strangulation before dismembering her body in a hotel bathroom to facilitate the ransom drop. In a gruesome attempt to deceive the father into paying the $1,500 reward, Hickman sewed the girl's eyelids open and propped up her torso in his car to make her appear alive. After receiving the money, he threw the remains out of the vehicle as he fled, leaving the father to discover the mutilated body.
