St. Patrick Myth and the Christianization of Ireland
The historical narrative of St. Patrick is challenged as a fictionalized account created to mask a bloody and prolonged conversion process in Ireland. Rather than a peaceful evangelical shift, the "Patrician" era likely involved mercenary operations and the physical execution of Druids, who were reportedly cast off cliffs. This period saw the conversion of sacred Druid wells into Christian holy sites and the destruction of approximately 70% of pagan art across the continent.
