Cory Daniel | The Phoenix Enigma, Freemasons, Giants, & Esoteric Arizona
Desert Civilizations and the Psychology of Environment
Corey Daniel theorizes that desert environments with perennial water sources, like Phoenix or ancient Sumer, are ideal for the birth of civilization because they allow for multiple planting seasons and lack tropical diseases. He contrasts the cooperative nature of desert cultures with what he describes as the more violent tendencies found in jungle-based societies.
