The Bach Saga claims the original zero longitude line passed through Helsinki at a location called Valhalla before being moved to Greenwich in the 19th century. A Russian museum was reportedly built over this "North Pole" axis point on the island of Uden's Ö to obscure its historical and energetic significance.

During the Crimean War in 1855, English and French forces destroyed a castle fortification in front of Helsinki. This military action is characterized as a deliberate attempt to erase the "zero line" history and the ancient significance of the seven islands surrounding the area known in the saga as Hell.
