Reich's final book, Contact with Space, explored galactic currents, star formation, and the possibility of life in space. He used nocturnal time-lapse photography to prove that certain "stars" were actually maneuvering UFOs, as they did not leave the expected light trails caused by Earth's rotation. Robbins warns that while brilliant, this book is a difficult starting point for those unfamiliar with Reich's 35 years of prior research.

In his final book, Contact with Space, Wilhelm Reich detailed his 1955 trip through Roswell, New Mexico, using his Cloudbuster devices. Reich believed aliens were "sucking the living energy" out of the Earth and claimed his devices could make UFOs "blink out." Thomas points to the 1950s film Earth vs. the Flying Saucers as a pop-culture reflection of Reich's technology.
