THC 23: Pat Chouinard | Ancient Civilizations, Alien Intervention, & The Terran Race
Terran Identity and Space Destiny
The term "Terran" is defined as a planetary racial identity that transcends ethnic groups and nation-states. Channard argues that humanity must view itself as a single species to justify its destiny as a multi-planetary civilization. He posits that space is the "promised land" and that extraterrestrials may be monitoring our progress to ensure we reach this potential.
