Project Blue Book, Dual Reporting Systems
Stanton Friedman reveals the existence of two separate UFO reporting systems, as disclosed by Air Force General Carol Bolander in 1969. While Project Blue Book was the public-facing entity, reports affecting national security were handled through high-level military channels like JANAP 146. Friedman argues that the public was misled into believing Blue Book was the only investigation, while the most significant cases were funneled into classified programs.
