Shamangineer | Fascism: The History, The Psychology, & The Re-emergence
Sexual Repression as a Tool of Social Control
Wilhelm Reich posited that the repression of natural childhood and adolescent sexuality is a primary mechanism for embedding pathology and submissiveness in the human psyche. By confining sexual expression to marriage and arranged structures, patriarchal societies create "body armoring" that makes individuals susceptible to fascist ideology. Reich's theories were suppressed by both the US government and the KGB, leading to his eventual death in prison.
