Peter Mark Adams | Game of Saturn: The Sola-Busca Tarot, Bloodlines, & The Demiurge Deal
The Game of Saturn, Chronos and the Demiurge Deal
The deck is titled The Game of Saturn because the figure of Saturn, or Chronos, pervades every level of its symbolism. Saturn is identified with various deities including Baal Hammon and Moloch, representing the demiurge or the primal creator of the material world. The elite mindset of the 15th century involved making a "deal" with this demiurge to maintain worldly rulership and material wealth across multiple lifetimes.
