THC 121: Adam Gorightly | Discordianism, Operation Mindfuck, & Famous Tricksters
CIA Asset Allegories, Timothy Leary and Terence McKenna
Speculation regarding Timothy Leary and Terence McKenna being CIA assets is addressed, with Adam Gorightly noting that Leary was under immense government pressure and legal persecution. The segment mentions that both Kerry Thornley and Lee Harvey Oswald were stationed at the Atsugi base in Japan, a known site for early LSD testing. Despite these connections, the guests debate whether these figures were truly "cooperating" or simply victims of their circumstances.
