Robert Sullivan | Cinema Symbolism & The Esoteric Archetypes of Hollywood
James Bond as a Solar Hero and Alchemical Wedding
James Bond is analyzed as a solar archetype who undergoes an "alchemical wedding" with the Bond girl, who represents the sacred feminine or Sophia. Robert W. Sullivan IV identifies the character M as a solar reference to the 13th letter of the alphabet and the zodiac. Bond’s battles against villains like Goldfinger and Blofeld are framed as the hero's struggle against Demiurge-like figures attempting to control the material world.
