Allen Greenfield | Sex Magic, The Grail Within, & Manifestation
Media Fatigue and the Value of Niche Topics
The host expresses frustration with the "story of the week" cycle in mainstream and independent media, citing repetitive coverage of events like the Johnny Depp trial and Elon Musk's Twitter acquisition. He argues that The Higher Side Chats provides value by intentionally avoiding these trending topics in favor of creative and unexpected subjects like sex magic or Peruvian traditions. This approach is framed as a way to maintain a "counterculture corner" in a saturated media landscape.
