John Titor and the 2036 Time Travel Claims
In 2000, an individual using the name John Titor appeared on internet forums claiming to be a soldier from the year 2036 sent back to retrieve an IBM 5100 computer. Titor shared technical sketches of his time machine and made several predictions about a future American civil war and a brief nuclear conflict in 2015. While many dismiss the case as a sophisticated hoax, it remains one of the most famous and debated instances of alleged time travel in the digital age.
