Hunter Carl Higdon reported a strange encounter in 1974 in Wyoming where his rifle bullet appeared to move in slow motion and crumple against an invisible barrier. Higdon claimed he was taken by a humanoid entity to a transparent building and returned with elevated vitamin levels and the mysterious disappearance of his lung scarring from tuberculosis. A metallurgy professor later confirmed the bullet had struck something of extreme hardness, supporting Higdon's otherwise incredible story.

Rick Simpson recounts how the death of his cousin in 1972 and a 1975 radio report about a Virginia Medical School study shaped his path. The study proved that THC kills cancer cells, yet the U.S. government kept the plant as a Schedule I substance. Simpson points out the hypocrisy of the government filing medicinal patents on cannabis in 2003 while simultaneously claiming it has no medical value.
