Topic: The Council

The narrative explores the life of drug kingpin Nicky Barnes, who led "The Council" syndicate before becoming a high-profile federal informant under Rudy Giuliani's prosecution. A comparison is drawn to modern rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, analyzing the "street code" regarding snitching and the circumstances that lead criminals to flip on their associates. The guest notes that Diddy even played the role of Nicky Barnes in the film Carlito's Way: Rise to Power, further blurring the lines between his life and the criminal underworld.

Peter Levenda returns to discuss his first novel, The Lovecraft Code, which explores the intersection of fiction and profound supernatural truths. The work builds on his previous non-fiction series, Sinister Forces, connecting historical events like the Salem witch trials and the activities of the Council of Nine to ethereal influences. Levenda is introduced as an author who identifies hidden synchronicities between places, names, and dates.
