Topic: Tantric Sex

Greg Carlwood references a recent interview with Dr. Joanna Cuyahva regarding spontaneous Kundalini experiences and the role of the feminine in spiritual awakening. The guests discuss how Western culture has marginalized the archetype of the knowledgeable woman, often reducing female figures to either harlots or virginal mothers. Season three of the series explores how these energetic experiences have been suppressed in a manner similar to the prohibition of psychedelics.

The segment explores "Upgraded Sex," focusing on the tantric theory that infrequent ejaculation can increase a man's energy and longevity. Asprey describes his personal experiment with a "tantric equation" that suggests an eight-day cycle for a 41-year-old male. He discusses the "orgasm hangover" that can decrease productivity and mood the following day, while noting that women benefit from frequent orgasms due to oxytocin release.
