Gordon White presents the "Scole Experiment" as a "smoking gun" for the survival of consciousness. Conducted by members of the Society for Psychical Research in England, the year-long study produced physical evidence including apported 1940s newspapers and images on factory-sealed Kodak film. White argues that these results cannot be explained by anything other than a spirit model, providing a logical foundation for the reality of an afterlife.

The Scole Experiments, conducted in the 1990s in Norfolk, England, provide significant evidence for the survival of consciousness after death. Members of the Society for Psychical Research documented physical phenomena including apported objects, such as 1940s-era newspapers, and factory-sealed film containing spirit messages. These results challenge materialist models and suggest a structured spirit world capable of physical interaction.
