Washington DC, Alexandria, and the Naval Observatory Meridian
The layout of Washington DC and Alexandria, Virginia, is described as a geometric diamond oriented toward George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate. The George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria is built on a meridian defined by the U.S. Naval Observatory, which itself is patterned after Shugborough Hall in England. These alignments serve as an "Axis Mundi" for the United States, reflecting ancient navigational and talismanic principles.
