Matthew J. Bell | Synchromysticism, Ritual Mapping, & The Four Corners Mystery
Route 666 Renaming and the Number 491
The segment details the history of Highway 666, known as the "Devil's Highway," and its 2003 renaming to Highway 491. Bell explains the numerological significance, linking 490 to the biblical instruction to forgive "seventy times seven" times. By naming the road 491, the engineers allegedly signaled a state of "unforgiveness" or an anti-Christ sentiment. They also link the harsh desert environment of the Four Corners to the Egyptian god Set, the deity of storms and chaos.
