The guests outline the seven core principles that define a member of the Federation of Egalitarian Communities (FEC). These principles include holding land and labor in common, practicing non-violence, using consensus-based decision-making, and prohibiting discrimination based on race, gender, or orientation. They emphasize that while the community provides the structure and space, the specific enterprises and social dynamics are driven by individual members.
