Topic: Pyrrhonistic Skepticism

The Ethical Skeptic defines the core principle of his philosophy as Epoche, a Greek Pyrrhonistic concept involving the active suspension of disposition. He distinguishes this from methodical cynicism, which he describes as the biased application of doubt toward threatening information. True skepticism is presented as a disciplined state of neutral judgment intended to facilitate objective research and direct examination of evidence.
