The Best Of Gordon White On THC: Remembering The Dark Prince of Chaos Magic
Magonia, Parallel Realities, and the Green Children of Woolpit
The concept of "Magonia" and the work of Walter Evans-Wentz in The Fairy Faith in Celtic Countries suggest that fairyland is a parallel reality or alternate dimension. Common descriptions include an underworld or "middle earth" that exists alongside the human realm. Historical accounts like the Green Children of Woolpit and the voyage of St. Brendan are used to argue that "fairy" is a catch-all term for various physical and astral entities, including sylphs and nature spirits.
