Greg Carlwood introduces Fortean researcher Lon Strickler, the creator of the Phantoms and Monsters blog. Strickler has documented personal encounter reports since 2005 and authored nine books on cryptids, including Winged Cryptids and Humanoid Monsters. The discussion highlights Strickler's dedication to providing a platform for witnesses to share sightings of strange creatures that fall outside standard UAP categories.

Lon Strickler discusses his current projects, including his weekly live show, Phantoms and Monsters Radio on YouTube. He mentions upcoming books that will further document the Chicago winged humanoid phenomenon and O'Hare International Airport sightings. Strickler also highlights the work of his four-person research team that conducts "boots on the ground" investigations into various cryptid reports.

Lon Strickler, author and researcher behind the Phantoms & Monsters blog, joins the program to discuss a surge of cryptid sightings in Chicago. The current concentration of winged humanoid reports is compared to the 1960s Mothman events in Point Pleasant. Strickler’s background in Fortean research and his ongoing investigations into these modern encounters serve as the foundation for the discussion.

One of the most credible reports involved a group sighting at the Adler Planetarium, where multiple witnesses observed a winged entity. Lon Strickler concludes by providing his contact information and directing listeners to the Phantoms & Monsters website for archives and reporting tools. His books are available on Amazon for those seeking more in-depth case studies.
