THC 65: Nick Redfern Interview | Monster Files
Minnesota Iceman, FBI Investigation and Hoax Claims
The Minnesota Iceman, a creature encased in ice exhibited by Frank Hansen in the 1960s, was investigated by the FBI to ensure it was not a human murder victim. Cryptozoologists Ivan Sanderson and Bernard Heuvelmans believed the original specimen was real due to its biological detail and putrid smell, though it was later replaced by a latex dummy. The model is currently scheduled for display at the Museum of the Weird in Austin, Texas.
