Rosicrucianism, Charlemagne's Vault, and the Knights of the Golden Circle
The central tenets of Rosicrucianism are linked to the mystery of Christian Rosenkreuz’s seven-sided tomb, mirroring the hidden burial of Charlemagne. Historical records indicate multiple Holy Roman Emperors opened Charlemagne's vault to retrieve secret manuscripts and the Coronation Gospels. These traditions of hidden caches and geometric clues were later utilized by the Knights of the Golden Circle during the American Civil War.
