Dr. Gregory Shushan | Near Death Experience in Indigenous Religion, Afterlife Journeys, & Resurrection
Failed Prophecies and the Psychological Dimension of NDEs
In the 1980s, researchers Kenneth Ring and Margot Grey independently found that many NDE survivors returned with prophecies of a global catastrophe occurring around 1992. Since these events did not transpire, Dr. Shushan considers whether these messages are purely psychological manifestations of planetary anxiety. This raises questions about the objective reality of NDE communications versus their role as symbolic resolutions of fear and rebirth.
