THC 120: Chad Lewis | UFOs, Crop Circles, Curses, Tulpas, & Cryptids
Pepe the Lake Monster, Mississippi River and Reward Offers
Chad Lewis discusses his book on Pepe, the lake monster of Lake Pepin on the Mississippi River, and the $50,000 reward offered for proof of its existence. He describes his expeditions as a "paranormal travel log" inspired by the style of author Nick Redfern. Lewis also notes the strange behavior of a local newspaper that allegedly possessed a photo of the creature but became hostile and secretive when questioned about it.
