Evolution 2.0 and the Coup of God
McDowell describes the "Evolution 2.0" contest, a $10 million prize involving Perry Marshall and George Church aimed at solving communication theory in genetic sequencing. She suggests this effort is an attempt to "break the code of life" and achieve a "coup of God" by mastering the intelligent design of biological information.
