Eugen Schwab served as the managing director of the Escher Weiss factory in Ravensburg, which was designated as a Nazi model company during World War II. The facility utilized slave labor to produce components for the German war effort, including turbines used in Norway's heavy water production for the Nazi atomic bomb program. Later, Klaus Schwab joined Escher Weiss in 1967, overseeing a merger while the company allegedly provided nuclear technology to the South African apartheid regime.
