Randall Carlson | Sacred Geometry, Lost History, & Cycles Of Catastrophe
The Underground Stream of Knowledge and the Gothic Era
Carlson uses the metaphor of a subterranean river to describe how ancient knowledge emerges and disappears throughout history. He highlights the period from 1100 to 1300 AD as a major emergence, citing the rise of Gothic cathedrals, Catharism, the Knights Templar, and Grail literature. This era saw a massive transfer of knowledge between East and West through Sufism and Kabbalism.
