Brian Tuohy describes unreleased FBI files and a training video used to warn professional athletes about the dangers of gambling and drugs. The video suggests that athletes are frequently targeted for blackmail regarding their personal lives, including drug use or sexual orientation. Tuohy notes the contradiction between the FBI's internal warnings and the NFL's public claim that no game has ever been fixed.

Brian Tuohy clarifies that while the Sports Bribery Act of 1964 prohibits outside parties from bribing players, there is no law preventing a league from internally fixing its own games. He compares the NFL to a private entertainment product like a movie or a restaurant, where "improving" the product through manipulation is perfectly legal. This distinction allows leagues to direct referees to influence outcomes for better ratings.

Author Brian Tuohy, an expert on game fixing and sports conspiracies, discusses his research into the corruption of the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. He notes that while game fixing is a recognized issue in international soccer and tennis, the American sports media is too closely tied to the leagues to investigate such claims. Tuohy argues that even if only a small fraction of games are manipulated, the entire integrity of the multi-billion dollar industry is compromised.

Brian Tuohy concludes the interview by explaining why he avoids making specific championship predictions, as the league often waits for natural storylines to develop before providing a "push." He directs listeners to his website, TheFixIsIn.net, where his books *Larceny Games* and *Season in the Abyss* are available. Tuohy encourages fans to look at the business motivations behind sports media hype to understand how games are being manipulated.
