THC 65: Nick Redfern Interview | Monster Files
Flatwoods Monster, British Psychological Warfare Programs
Nick Redfern discusses the 1952 Flatwoods Monster incident in West Virginia, linking the 12-foot mechanical creature to military psychological warfare. He cites a 1950 RAND document and British Army records from WWII involving a similar 12-foot robotic device used to terrify Italian villagers. Redfern suggests the Flatwoods event may have been a staged military test to gauge public reaction to a potential UFO invasion or supernatural event.
