Topic: Drug Crisis

The host and guest discuss the decision to move away from Southern California, citing a decline in quality of life despite the favorable weather. Specific concerns mentioned include rising taxes, the homelessness crisis, and public safety issues involving open drug use and aggressive behavior in downtown San Diego. They analyze the "homelessness industrial complex," suggesting that California's budget allocations provide a financial incentive for administrators to manage rather than solve the crisis.
