Diesel Exhaust Fluid Shortages, Cargill Commodity Monopoly
A looming bottleneck in the commodities market is predicted for September 16th at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Shortages of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and rail disruptions are expected to cause massive defaults on grain contracts. Dubin suggests this will allow mega-corporations like Cargill to consolidate control over both grain production and delivery chains.
