The Andy Warhol Suicide Club and Dark Fetishism
The "Andy Warhol Suicide Club" refers to the high number of suicides and tragic deaths among Warhol’s close associates, including Edie Sedgwick. Warhol is described as having a fetish for death and dark imagery, often filming grainy S&M and early pornographic content. The discussion posits that the exposure to such soul-crushing themes in a more "innocent" era may have contributed to the psychological distress of those in his circle.
