Topic: Darrell Bem

Psychologist Darrell Bem published a decade-long study at Cornell University demonstrating that human cognition can be influenced by future events. In word memorization tests, subjects showed a statistically significant spike in performance when they studied the word list again after the test was completed. A meta-analysis of 90 samples across 33 labs and 14 nations confirmed these findings, suggesting that human perception is not strictly bound by linear time.

Darrell Bem utilized an unprecedented level of transparency in his psychical research by making his software and instruction manuals freely available to critics and supporters alike. Despite this openness, many in the scientific community reject the findings based on the tautological argument that precognition cannot be real because it violates common observation. This resistance highlights a lack of curiosity within the modernist intelligentsia regarding evidence that contradicts materialism.
