Crow777 argues that the Earth is a closed system and that nothing enters from "space." He details his observations of comets, noting that they have changed from white to green smudges since 2006. He expresses skepticism regarding Comet Atlas and previous "comets of the century" like ISON, suggesting that mainstream astronomical descriptions do not match first-hand observations through a telescope.

Freeman Fly discusses the transhumanist goal of immortality through technology, as promoted by Ray Kurzweil. He links this to a potential "cyclical catastrophe" involving near-Earth objects like Comet ISON and the theory of a second sun in the solar system (G1.9). He notes that the government shutdown led to the closure of the "space fence" and other monitoring systems, potentially hiding incoming threats from the public.
