Weather Modification Terminology, Cloud Seeding Industry
The evolution of terminology from "weather control" to "climate restoration" is analyzed as a linguistic shift to avoid public scrutiny. Jim Lee discusses the commercial cloud seeding industry, noting that municipalities like the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) pay private consultants millions for snowpack augmentation. He argues that despite these efforts, the chaotic nature of the climate makes precise weather control impossible.
